Just a quick post to say that quite a few bolts have been added to the sale section, hopefully there’s something for everyone so have a look!

The days have been short and dull here in the Scottish Borders. We could really do with some better light to photograph recently arrived new fabrics! Photos supplied by manufacturers are not always the best so I like to take my own to have more realistic photos, as well as helping people to get some idea about the scale of the patterns.

I have recently had a couple of people come back to me to say that they scale of the pattern is not as expected. We usually have a ruler in the photos, to help gauge the pattern. So, perhaps it’s a good idea to get a ruler out at home next time you’re not sure about the size of a flower print, to avoid disappointment later.

I’m off to make the most of the dull weather – staying indoors to sew. I have a tea cosy and some board game accessories on order which will keep me busy. ☺️
