Fancy having a go at making face masks? Here is the pattern I use for the standard adult sized face mask. All you need now is a quarter metre each of a fabric of your choice and a quarter metre of the lining I use. Alternatively, you can simply construct your mask out of two layers of cotton and insert a different material for a filter if preferred. You probably have a bit of elastic kicking around at home…. The first face masks I made for the family were made using elastic and toggles salvaged from old clothes. We also sell kits which include elastic, a toggle and a piece of wire, in case you haven’t got those knocking around at home.

I will include a free hard copy of the pattern if you put it in your basket, or just download it below. Some people prefer ear loops, I think adjustable elastic that goes round the head is more comfortable though. The pattern is drawn on an A4 sheet of paper, so should be easy to print out at home. Happy Stitching!
